Nothing is better than travel to know yourself. You know about life and its challenges, people and their difficulties, society and culture by travelling. You can’t feel all these through books, internet, television, etc., you have to travel to know about all these. I think travelling makes you more kind towards people, you start to take your life more seriously after seeing the difficulties of the people, inequality and poverty in the world.
Travelling to new places is not just fun, but a way to know & introspect yourself also. Travel is not just a way to enjoy, but to know yourself. You know about your limitations, fears and interests, more than that you know about you. When you see people who are living in extreme poverty are happy with the smallest things in life so start to value people and things in life. Nothing can be as fun as wander around.
