A little girl was selling the earthen lamps
her eyes were filled with the hope
that someone would come to shop
she was waiting eagerly
but she knew nothing comes easily
people were passing by
and she wanted to cry
all her hopes died at the end
and she went home empty hand
Sad but true! Especially in these days of Diwali celebrations, we can see numerous small kids trying to earn a little extra. Well written!
