Mental health

Mental health is a big issue. Many people are struggling with stress, anxiety, and depression. They are fighting with themselves every day. The person who seems normal from the outside might not be normal from inside.

Life is full of struggles and hardships. Stress, anxiety, and depression can happen to anyone. It can be about personal problems, family issues, marital issues, health issues, relationships, gender issues, social issues, financial issues, inferiority complex, peer pressure, loneliness, study, job, unemployment, etc.

You don’t know who is fighting with what. You don’t know what one is going through. You don’t what one is thinking in his or her mind. You don’t know what one wants in life. You shouldn’t judge anyone without knowing them.

When the outcome doesn’t meet the expectations, one feels disappointed. When one doesn’t get what he or she wants in life, he or she starts thinking life is not worth living anymore. He or she doesn’t find any purpose in life. He or she doesn’t find anything worth living for. He or she becomes hopeless. He or she loses his or her interest in everything. He or she distance himself or herself from others. He or she prefers to be alone. When he or she can’t tolerate stress, anxiety, and depression, suicidal thoughts start coming to his or her mind. Sometimes, he or she even commits suicide.

Stress, anxiety, and depression can affect a person severely. A mentally unstable person can do anything. He or she can harm himself or herself. He or she can harm others.

How can you help? Don’t judge anyone without knowing them and about their life. Don’t talk or comment about anyone unnecessarily and with the intention to mock or embarrass them. Give a helping hand to those who are suffering from stress, anxiety, and depression. Show your love and support for them. Your kind words can help someone and even can save someone’s life.

Those who are suffering from stress, anxiety, and depression should talk to someone who can understand them and listen to them without judging them. If you don’t find anyone, go to some professional. Go to the doctor and start medication. Don’t feel shy to talk about it.

In my opinion, love is the best cure for stress, anxiety and depression. People want love and attention. They want someone who can listen to them without judging them. They want someone with whom they can share anything.

I myself have gone through all these, therefore, I can understand what one feels in such a situation.

It’s high time mental health should be taken seriously.

You don’t know who is fighting with what in his or her life.
