Answers for the questions asked by Manjul
1. Overall, how are you handling the quarantine?
It hasn’t affected me much. If I can handle my life, I can handle pandemic, lockdown, and quarantine.
2. Have you violated any of the restrictions? If yes, what rule(s) did you break?
No, I haven’t violated any rules.
3. What viral recipes have you tried during the lockdown?
No, I haven’t tried any viral recipes.
4. What activities have you missed the most during quarantine?
I miss my sister. As she is married now, she used to come to the house in a month or two. I am glad that she came home after five months the last Saturday. I am feeling bad that she has gone today. I also miss meeting with friends.
5. Do you wear a mask when you leave the house?
Yes.
6. Are you an essential worker? If yes, what is your job title?
No.
7. How do you exercise during the lockdown?
No, I am not an exercise person, but I am thinking about losing some weight.
8. Have you subscribed to any new subscription services since the lockdown started?
No.
9. What did/does your daily schedule look like before the pandemic started?
As I am an introvert, I don’t go outside much in regular days also. So, there is no such change in my daily life. The only difference has come that before pandemic, I used to go to the job by train, but now I have to go by road which is very exhausting. I feel exhausted when I reach home from the job.
10. Do you think that the pandemic is getting better or worse?
It is getting worse if we see data, but there is no need to panic as the recovery rate is increasing day by day. In my opinion, the Indian government didn’t take strict actions when Corona was in the initial phase. It didn’t take necessary actions at airports as lakhs of foreigners entered India without any screening. Due to the incompetency and negligence of the government and unplanned lockdown, people had to suffer especially migrant labourers. They had to walk miles with their children and luggage to reach their homes. Basically, the government of India let down its own people who help in building the nation. People also responsible for they didn’t follow rules.
