Excess of anything is bad. No matter how much you love someone or something, at some point, it gets more than necessary. No matter how much you love something to eat, you can’t eat every day. If I ask you to eat your favorite food every day, you will probably say I can eat it every day. You may like it for the first 2-3 days, but you will get bored with it soon. Your taste buds will start craving for something else. No matter how much you love sweets, at one point, you will be fed up with sweets. You start craving for something spicy.
No matter how much you love music or movies, at one point, you will get bored with it. You can’t listen to music or watch movies all day and night. Why does it happen? It happens because when you do something in excess, it becomes monotonous. You need other things to end the monotony.
The same things happen with relationships. When you love and care for your children too much, they may get spoiled. When you love someone too much, he or she starts taking you for granted.
Everything is good within a limit, but when you do something in excess, it starts affecting you negatively.
Too much of anything is bad.
