Poetry

Whether it is a rhyming poem, free verse, or any other form of poetry, poems are one of the best ways to express your feelings.

When I started blogging, I was not a fan of poetry. Maybe it was because until then I didn’t read a lot of poetry. But, when I started reading poetry, I started liking poetry. There are many reasons behind why I started liking poetry.

The first thing I like about poems is that you can express a lot in a few words or lines. You don’t need to write pages to express your feelings. You can express your feelings in just a few words or lines.

The second good thing about poems is that it takes less time to write in comparison to non-fiction, fiction, articles, etc. It’s true that time to write content also depends on a writer’s writing skill, thought process, and knowledge of vocabulary, but usually, poems can be written in less time in comparison to other types of content. Also, poems are good for readers who have no habit or time to read long content as they can read them in less time. So, poems are a win-win situation for both writers and readers.

The other thing I like about the poems is that everyone can relate to them as everyone interpret them in their way.

The best thing I like about poems is that you can express your feelings without letting others know about your feelings. You can express your feelings through poetry in a cryptic way without fear of being judged by others or feeling embarrassed.

I like poetry.

  1. I hadn’t written much poetry until I started blogging either and blogging is what really got me into it. I really like poetry for the same reasons as you- we can express ourselves well and we can do it with few words.
